Windmill Jam Tarts


These puff pastry jam tarts, really look very impressive.


They are so much fun to make on your own or with some friends.

If you enjoy doing arts and crafts, this is a creative pastry task that you should try.


Ingredients:

1       Puff Pastry (store bought)

         Apricot Jam


1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

2. Dust a clean working surface with some flour.

3. Open up and lay the Puff Pastry on the floured surface.

4. Cut it into equal small squares.

5. Cut 4 slits on each side of the square.

6. Press every second slit into the middle of the square.

7. Place them onto a well-oiled baking sheet pan and space them evenly.

8. Brush the tarts with some beaten eggs and top them with ½ t Apricot Jam.

9. Bake them in the oven for 20 minutes.

10. Once they are cooled, you can dust them generously with some Icing Sugar.
