Cook Spaghetti


I know…

But I have been asked the above question many times.

Here is the answer...


Ingredients:

1 pkt Spaghetti (500g)

3 L  Boiling Water

2 t   Salt



Tip: Have your sauce, cooked and ready, before you cook the Spaghetti.


1. Kettle boil the water, before you add it to your pot. This reduces the cooking time.

2. Add the Salt to the water and allow it to bubble furiously.

3. Add the Spaghetti and Salt. Do not Break the Spaghetti.

Tip: You DO NOT need to add extra Oil into the water.

Tip: Different Brands have different cooking times. Please check on the packaging for the instructions, regarding the cooking times.
















4. Boil the Spaghetti uncovered for 7-10 minutes, until it’s tender but still firm “Al Dente”. Stir it through gently a few times.


5. Drain the hot water from the cooked Spaghetti.

6. Smother your Spaghetti with sauce, immediately! Do not allow the Spaghetti to cool without a sauce, it will become dry.
