"No Crust" Butternut Squash Pie




Sweet butternut. A firm favourite.
Why not bake a Butternut pie? I thought.
That’s just what I did!


“No Crust” Butternut Squash Pie (Serves 12)

2 C      Butternut Squash, cooked
1 Can  Condensed Milk (385g)
2 t       Cinnamon
1 t        Ground Ginger
½ t     Nutmeg
½ t     Salt
2          Eggs

  • Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  • Spray or Oil a Pie dish or pan and set aside.
  • Cut, peel, cook or roast a Butternut Squash until soft. Cool Well.
  • Add Condensed Milk, Cinnamon, Ground Ginger, Nutmeg and Salt and Butternut Squash in a bowl.
  • Mix Well.
  • Whisk Eggs and add to you mixture.
  • Pour the Butternut mixture into your Pie dish or pan.
  • Place into the oven for 20-30 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool before serving with some whipped fresh Cream.
